Although best known for his tracks on T&A, Nightshifters and ClekClekBoom labels, P.O.L.Style’s passion lies in djing, which is reflected in his mass of DJ mixes of over the years. He’s been commissioned to do mixes for Lucky Me, Mad Decent, Sound Pellegrino, Discobelle, URB, Mishka: Keep Watch series and countless other blogs, and his tracks have received praise from Rustie, Bok Bok, Jackmaster, Canblaster, Tittsworth, Teki Latex, Sinden and many other respected artists.

Nargiz (Laguna Bass – Tokyo)

Nargiz started djing in New York City after moving there from Philly. She ended up in Tokyo, where she can now be found playing at her monthly residency Laguna Bass as well as appearing at other parties in Japan, Korea and USA. Recently she played for Mad Decent, Numbers Tokyo, and you can often find her djing for the clothing brand Mishka. Bringing a bass-heavy sound to the party, in the past year she’s played alongside artists like Roska, Skream, DJ POLStyle, Girl Unit, Bok Bok, Kingdom, and duo Dexpistols.

Published September 3, 2012 by subcultureshanghai

Ok, we’ve been a bit quiet on here for some time now, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been doing anything. Finally has had a long over due lick of digital paint (thanks to Olivepixel) and we are ready to announce our upcoming events for the rest of the year! First off here are the dates for the Sub-Culture events in Shanghai. We will also be announcing our Beijing events and also a couple of special Sub-Cinema events in the next day or two, as well as getting back up to speed with the blog. All killer, no filler!
