A Couple Of Heavy Drops From Hong Kong

Published October 26, 2011 by subcultureshanghai

This week sees two of Hong Kong heavyweight producers, DJ Wash and Blood Dunza, drop their debut releases!

DJ WASH – REPULSION / DIVISION

First off is Kongkrete Bass’ DJ Wash with his double A side single dropping on Shanghai based Rankadank records. Wash has been in the scene for a good few years now and has made numerous appearances at Sub-Culture, including just a few months back when he played an absolute belter of a set! His productions have been making some real waves of recent and this is his first official release. Here’s what Rankadank had to say:

‘DJ Wash comes to Rankadank Records with this banging debut release. Based in Hong Kong, Wash runs one of the biggest DNB & Dubstep podcasts in Asia “Kongkast” and is renowned for his rolling sets. This double single may be his first official release but its definately not amatuer, with floor killing subs and tight drums, these tracks should get any dancefloor jumping. Here a preview of the release and if you like it then go right here and pick yourself up a copy.’

Blood Dunza, Aka Lai Fai, is hte head honcho behind HongKong’s HEAVY crew and has been pushing heavy bass and reggae for the last 4 or 5 years. Again, Blood Dunza has graced the decks at both Sub-Culture and Shanghai By Bus and always brings the goods. Cop his shit here – Blood Dunza – A Change Is Gonna Come
